Punjabi music artist Rajvir Jawanda continues to receive intensive care at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, four days after a devastating motorcycle crash in Pinjore, Haryana. While his condition remains serious, doctors have noted some progress, saying that three out of four life support machines have now been removed.
Although he is still on a ventilator and unconscious, hospital authorities confirmed that the singer’s vital parameters have shown signs of stabilisation, offering a ray of hope for his recovery.
Small Steps Forward Amid Critical Care
Jawanda’s medical team—comprising specialists in neurology and emergency medicine—has been monitoring him around the clock. A series of health bulletins issued over the past few days paint a picture of slow, cautious progress:
September 27: Jawanda was rushed to Fortis Hospital following the crash, which left him with major trauma to the head and spine. Doctors also reported that he suffered a cardiac arrest during transport.
September 28: He remained in a highly fragile condition, with full ventilator support and multi-system life support in place.
September 29: Doctors noted a slight but promising improvement in his health, leading to the removal of some life-sustaining equipment.
