After producing films like ‘Banjara- The Truck Driver’ and ‘Gurmukh’, Rana Ahluwalia Productions is all set for their next big project. The renowned production banner has recently announced its next Movie with the action superstar of the Punjabi film industry- Dev Kharoud.
The film will be helmed by none other than the popular writer and director of the Punjabi cinema- Pali Bhupinder. Pali Bhupinder has written big films like Laavan Phere and lock and has also directed movies including Stupid 7 and Gurmukh. Pali Bhupinder has written the script of the upcoming film and will also be directing it.
The movie will be of a different and new genre which is action-comedy. The Punjabi industry has not witnessed many films with a concoction of comedy and action and this film will definitely be one of its kind. Rana Ahluwalia in his recent interview has said that Dev Kharoud, who is playing the main lead in the movie, will be seen playing a unique, new, and different character in the film.
The shooting of the movie has not started yet and the team is working on finding locations and costing of the project. The film will be shot in Punjab, India-Nepal Border, and in Canada. Rajeev Shrivastava has been the DOP of many films including Harjeeta and the Bollywood movie Ra One, will be the DOP of the upcoming film.
The title of the movie has not been revealed by the team yet. The makers will soon unveil more details about the movie. The news of this film will definitely thrill the audience who have been looking forward to seeing Dev Kharoud’s larger than life action on the silver screen.
