n a movie which is all set to be included in the rare genre of action movies in the Punjabi film industry, director Rakesh Mehta’s ‘Rang Punjab’ will hit the big screens on November 23 this year. Having made his debut with ‘Vaapsi’ (2016), this will be Mehta’s second Punjabi movie.

Punjabi film actor Deep Sidhu will play the main lead role in the movie and would be seen playing the character of a police officer. Reena Rai has been starred as the female lead opposite Deep Sidhu in the film. Kartar Cheema will play the role of a villian in the film. Other than these actors the movie stars an ensemble of archetype actors like Hobby Dhaliwal, Mahavir Bhullar, Ashish Duggal, Dheeraj Kumar and the budding artist of the industry Jagjeet Sandhu.

Produced by Bathinde Wale Bai Films and Raj Kundra, the film is of a genre which is different and uncommon in the Punjabi Industry. The trailer has created immense excitement amongst the audience and is recieving a lot of appreciation. The audience is keenly waiting for the movie to hit the screens this month. The movie might face competition from Sharry Mann’s Marriage Palace, but the response by the audience to the movie trailer suggests that the movie will surely manage to make space in the hearts of the audience .
