With cinemas receiving governmental permission to open with limited capacity in addition to the unlock happening in various forms and phases in the country, film producers & distributors have started to announce their projects for the upcoming year 2021.
Roshan Prince and Isha Rikhi had been announced as the lead pair for a new Punjabi film titled 'Booo Main Dargi' early last year. The onscreen couple has already paired opposite each other in another yet to release film 'Laddu Barfi'. And today the makers have finally revealed the release date of the film which will hit the silver screens on February 26, 2021. A teaser poster announcing the same has also be unveiled.
'Booo Main Dargi' has been directed by Manjeet Singh Tony & Written by Raju Verma. The film is being made under the banner of Next Image Entertainment and produced by Sony Nadha & Karamjeet Singh. Worldwide distribution of the film will be done by White Hill Studios.
Alongside Roshan Prince and Isha Rikhi, the film has a stellar starcast including Yograj Singh, Anita Devgan, BN Sharma, Nisha Bano, Gurmeet Saajan, Dilwar Sandhu, Satinder Kaur, Prakash Gadhu, Harby Sangha & many other talented artists.
'Booo Main Dargi' is expected to be a game changer for Punjabi Cinema in the horror comedy genre. The film will definitely be a family entertainer and should manage to tickle the audience’s funny bones.
