Relief for Ranveer Allahbadia as Supreme Court Orders Passport Release

The Supreme Court on Monday delivered much-needed relief to YouTuber and influencer Ranveer Allahbadia, ordering the release of his passport. The move follows weeks of controversy linked to his comments during an episode titled "India’s Got Latent."

The court authorized Allahbadia to apply to the Maharashtra Cyber Crime Bureau to recover his passport.

During proceedings, government representatives from Maharashtra and Assam confirmed that investigations into the related FIRs had concluded.

Allahbadia, known for his YouTube channel and podcast series, found himself facing travel restrictions in the aftermath of the controversy. The Supreme Court’s decision now clears the way for him to resume international commitments.
