Shehzad Poonawalla has revisited his much-discussed clash with Siwet Tomar on ‘Rise And Fall Season 2’, revealing that he had actually asked the show’s makers not to evict Siwet following their physical confrontation. The reality-show debutant said he felt Siwet deserved another chance and had requested the makers to forgive him.
Shehzad Opens Up About His Conversation With the Makers
The revelation came during a conversation in the latest episode, where Shehzad was discussing his growing discomfort inside the reality show. His concerns surfaced after his heated exchange with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, which had left him questioning whether he wanted to continue his stint on the show.
Shehzad had previously referred to Priyanka as a “gold digger” during their argument. Later, while speaking with Irina Rudakova, he explained why he was considering walking away from the show.
Irina encouraged him to stay and suggested that he apologise to Priyanka so that the two could maintain a more cordial equation. Shehzad, however, felt that he was constantly being placed in situations where he was expected to compromise.
It was during this conversation that he brought up his earlier controversy with Siwet.
According to Shehzad, even while he was receiving medical treatment after the altercation, he told the makers that Siwet should not be sent home. He said he wanted the makers to forgive the young contestant and allow him to continue his journey.
Shehzad explained that, in his view, Siwet was around 29 or 30 years old and depended on such opportunities for his livelihood. He contrasted this with his own circumstances and said that reality television was not his primary source of income.
Shehzad Questions Why He Could Forgive Siwet But Not Apologise to Priyanka
Shehzad further connected the incident to his ongoing disagreement with Priyanka.
He questioned why he was able to forgive Siwet after their physical confrontation but was still being expected to apologise to Priyanka. He also expressed frustration over what he believed was an unfair portrayal of him following the arguments.
The conversation highlighted Shehzad's perception that he was being repeatedly pushed into apologising even when he did not believe he was entirely at fault.
How Did the Siwet Tomar-Shehzad Poonawalla Fight Start?
The confrontation between Siwet Tomar and Shehzad Poonawalla took place during the third episode of ‘Rise And Fall Season 2’.
The disagreement began after Shehzad nominated Siwet for elimination from the Ultimate Ruler race. Their argument soon became more heated, with Shehzad also questioning Siwet about his equation with Swara Bhasker.
As the exchange intensified, Siwet moved towards Shehzad and the situation turned physical. Shehzad's kurta was torn during the incident, while Swara was also seen intervening and asking Siwet not to hit him.
Following the altercation, Siwet was evicted from the show.
Shehzad's Image Concerns Become Another Point of Discussion
The Siwet controversy has now resurfaced amid Shehzad's latest conflict with Priyanka. After their argument, Shehzad spoke about his concerns regarding how he was being perceived outside the show.
He also expressed apprehension that statements made against him could potentially affect his public image and be used by his rivals. His remarks about Priyanka have since added another layer to the tensions inside the house.
With disagreements continuing to shape the dynamics of ‘Rise And Fall Season 2’, Shehzad's revelation that he had personally asked for Siwet's forgiveness has brought fresh attention to the circumstances surrounding their earlier altercation.
