Director Rohit Jugraj known for films like Jatt James Bond, Sardaarji & Sardaarji 2 is all set to venture into production with ‘Khido Khundi’. The film is based on the subject of Hockey, the national game of India. The film will be directed by Sartaj Singh Pannu, who last made Sippy Gill starrer ‘Tiger’ and the National Award Winner ‘Nanak Shah Fakir’.

Khido Khundi actually means Hockey in native language which means ‘A game played with a stick and a ball’ and will be released in Winter later this year. Rohit will be producing the film along with Sagoon Wagh who also produced Tiger and has earlier worked on various Bollywood projects. There has been no information regarding the star cast of the film yet but the things will be announced very shortly.

Khido Khundi is based on a village called Sansarpur located in Jalandhar district in Punjab which has produced 14 Olympians till date out of which 9 played FOR India, 4 for Kenya and 1 for Kenya.
