With cinemas receiving governmental permission to open with limited capacity in addition to the unlock happening in various forms and phases in the country, film producers & distributors have started to announce their new projects.

Renowned singer and actor- Roshan Prince, is a big name in the Punjabi entertainment industry. After doing great work in innumerable chartbuster songs and many superhit films, the star is all set to widen his horizons as an artist and is ready to take a big leap of faith. Roshan Prince recently revealed that he will be stepping into the field of writing and direction with his new upcoming film.

Roshan Prince runs an acting and music school in Canada, called the 'Fame School and Studio'. The school announced its first feature film titled 13Teen. This film will mark Roshan Prince's debut as a writer and director in the Punjabi film industry. Prince took it to his social media, to reveal this big news to his fans.

The Punjabi industry has always provided growth opportunities to all artists and this is the reason that many of the Punjabi singers and actors have tapped their talent and have tried their hands in the field of writing, direction and production and vice versa.

The industry has witnessed many big actors like Gippy Grewal, Rana Ranbir, Neeru Bajwa, Preeti Sapru and more, who have excelled in the field of writing, direction or both, along with nailing each of their acting performance. On the contrary, there are also a few artists like Sagar S. Sharma, who have done the opposite. He is a writer and director and he recently tried his hands in acting by playing the negative lead in his film- Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da. 

Roshan Prince is thrilled to adorn the director's hat and is ready for this new change. The exciting part of this film is that it will star the actors from Prince's Canada based acting and music school, which will give opportunities to new and fresh talented artists.

The shooting of the movie will start on August 2, 2021. The film will be shot in the Winnipeg province of Canada. No other details about the film have been revealed yet. The team is excited for the project and the audience is also looking forward to Roshan Prince's directorial debut.
