Harbhajan Mann starrer Saadey CM Saab has not got the support from the people that it may have anticipated. The film opened at the Box Office poorly. The makers failed to create the buzz for the film which reflected in empty seats at the cinemas. The collections made by the film so far indicate that the film may end up in red.
The film didn’t get an opening which could even be called average. The first day first show got a very cold response with occupancy levels in single digits i.e. less than 10 percent. This cold trend flourished through out the day and the film could make only few more than 20 Lakh in East Punjab Region.
However, Saturday brought in some respite for the film with the collections raising. But the respite was way too little and way too less. The film could not cross the figures of 25 Lakhs and was way too short of it.
Sunday being a holiday did shoot up the collections of the film. The film grossed 37 Lakhs at the box office in East Punjab region. We believe this would be the biggest collection ever made by this film on a single day in its complete lifetime.
The films collections are expected to come down sharply on Monday as it would be a working day. All in all, if the same trend continues the film will end in red. This certainly is going to be the most likely scenario, as the film has got poor reviews as well.
