Sanjay Dutt’s maternal uncle’s grand daughter Nazia Hussain, who rose to fame after her role in famous telugu film Nee Jathaga Nenundali, which was a remake of the blockbuster Hindi movie ‘Aashiqui 2’, will be soon seen making her acting debut in the Punjabi film industry. She has been starred opposite famous Punjabi singer and actor Ranjeet Bawa who has given two hit movies- Khido Khundi and Mr. & Mrs. 420 returns this year out of which the latter received a lot of love from the audience.
Bawa has signed the untitled film and said that the movie has a great storyline and a strong message to put forward. According to sources, the film is based on the sensitive issue of racism. The movie will be directed by Love Punjab fame director Rajiv Dhingra. The director stated
Things have gone beyond religion now. Racist rants are becoming common in every part of the country. I picked up the topic because it talks about the current scenario of India.
Ranjeet Bawa has recently completed the shoot of his film with Pankaj Batra in London and will soon start shooting for this movie. The first schedule of the film will start this month. Most of the movie would be shot in and around Amritsar.
