The makers confirmed the duo's participation on Saturday, adding two more familiar faces to a line-up that already features Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Karan Patel, Swara Bhasker and Shehzad Poonawalla.
Sara Gurpal also announced her entry on social media, bringing her Punjabi identity into the promotion for the show. “Punjab ki shaan hoon aur Haryana ki jaan hu…ab RiseAndFallS2 mein dhamaka karne aa rahi hoon!” she wrote on Instagram.
Penthouse vs Basement
The show's format centres on a constant battle for power, with contestants split between two groups — Rulers and Workers.
Those holding the Rulers' position stay in the Penthouse and enjoy greater privileges, while the Workers are housed in the Basement. However, the hierarchy is not fixed, with contestants able to gain or lose power as the game progresses.
The makers have teased a format in which strategic decisions, alliances and changing relationships can significantly alter the course of the competition.
Sehwag Takes Over Hosting Duties
The second season will also feature a change at the helm, with former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag stepping in as host. He takes over from Ashneer Grover, who hosted the first season.
The new season is scheduled to premiere on September 26 and will be available to stream for free on Prime Video.
With more contestants now confirmed, the upcoming season is set to bring together personalities from entertainment, television and public life under a format where the balance between privilege and power can change at any stage.
