Currently the country is going under renovation. Yes, the Prime Minister is rebuilding India and it has come with it’s toll. We have seen many films being shifted ahead by 2-3 weeks in order to counter demonetisation. The latest film to be shifted ahead is Jackie Shroff-Daljeet Kalsi-Guggu Gill starrer Sardar Saab. The film which was slated to hit screens on December 16, 2016 will now come 21 days later on January 6, 2017.
This is a measure take to counter demonetisation. When contacted, Director Amit Prasher was available for comments and stated, “Sardaar Saab is a very well made film and we do not want the film to suffer because of an issue which is not in our control. So we have decided to to shift the film ahead by 3 weeks.”
When asked about the promotional activities of the film, Amit added, “We were about to kickstart our campaign from November 23rd but we realised that many films suffered at the Box Office due to the scenario so we have decided to shift everything ahead and give the film a proper release which it deserves.”
The film is being released worldwide by White Hill production worldwide on January 6 which also features Neetu Singh, Sardar Sohi, Shivender Mahal and is produced by Mika Singh & All Time Movies.
