Veteran singer Sardool Sikander passes away: The legendary artist breathed his last in Fortis Hospital, Mohali, this morning.

Veteran Punjabi singer Sardool Sikander breathed his last this morning. Sikander, who was hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19, had developed a fungal infection and was suffering from post-renal transplant complications.

It is worth mentioning that Sikander wasn’t keeping well for the last 3-4 months and had visited several hospitals before succumbing to multiple illnesses in Fortis Hospital, Mohali, today.

A career spanning over three decades, Sikander’s demise has left the Punjabi entertainment industry in utter shock. Wishes have started to pour in for the late singer across social media platforms.

Sikander, who formed a blockbuster pair with wife Amar Noorie on the stage, will be remembered for performing both as a solo artist and as a duet across the globe.
