Saunkan Saunkne: Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta and Nimrat Khaira to play lead in Amarjit Saron's next

Saunkan Saunkne: The recently-announced Punjabi movie will witness Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta and Nimrat Khaira sharing screen for the first time.

The adorable pair of singer-turned-actor Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta have bagged another film with both of them in the lead role. The duo took to their respective social media handles to announce the movie titled 'Saunkan Saunkne'.

Other than Virk and Mehta, Saunkan Saunkne will also witness singer-turned-actress Nimrat Khaira play a pivotal role in the movie.

Having appeared together in Simerjit Singh's 'Angrej' (2015) and Jagdeep Sidhu's 'Qismat' (2018), this will be the fourth Punjabi movie starring Virk and Mehta as they are also slated to feature in 'Qismat 2'.

Talking precisely about Virk, Saunkan Saunkne will be his fifth Punjabi movie to release in the future. In ‘Challe Mundiyan’, ‘Puada‘, Qismat 2 and 'Hukma', the A-list actor already has four unreleased Punjabi movies under his belt.

While Khaira hasn't worked with this duo before, she will be seen next opposite singer-turned-actor Diljit Dosanjh in Amberdeep Singh's 'Jodi'.

Saunkan Saunkne

Writer-director Amarjit Singh Saron, who had registered two praiseworthy movies in 'Kala Shah Kala' and 'Jhalle' last year, will be seen directing his third movie in Saunkan Saunkne.

The film has been written by Amberdeep Singh who already has as many as half-a-dozen announced movies to his name. It is worth mentioning that Jodi would have released yesterday had it not been for the COVID-19 pandemic.

Apart from Jodi, Amberdeep is scheduled to direct singer-turned-actor Amrinder Gill in an untitled film, ‘Je Jatt Vigar Gaya‘ and ‘Laung Laachi 2‘. Much like Saunkan Saunkne, Amberdeep has also written the script of Sargun Mehta and Gurnam Bhullar-starer 'Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya'.

After Kala Shah Kala and Jhalle, Saunkan Saunkne will be the third movie produced under Mehta's home banner of Dreamiyata Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Apart from this, the movie will also be bankrolled by Amberdeep Productions, Naad Films and JRN Films.
