Shehnaaz Gill has once again grabbed headlines, this time for dancing to the viral OST of Pakistani drama Meri Zindagi Hai Tu. The track, sung by Asim Azhar and the Sabri Sisters, has won widespread acclaim for its soulful melody and has become one of the most streamed Pakistani songs of 2025.
The Instagram video posted by Shehnaaz shows her grooving energetically to the song, captioned, “Obsessed with this song, even more obsessed with myself.” Fans immediately reacted, praising her lively performance, while Asim Azhar playfully commented, “Gaana toh no doubt acha hai,” adding fuel to the viral buzz.
Meri Zindagi Hai Tu, starring Bilal Abbas Khan and Hania Aamir, has captivated audiences across South Asia, despite digital restrictions in India following the Pahalgam terror attack earlier this year. Several Pakistani artists’ accounts, including Hania Aamir and Ali Zafar, faced limited access in India, yet the OST continues to attract fans across borders, highlighting how art often transcends political and digital boundaries.
Shehnaaz, who rose to fame on Bigg Boss 13, has reinvented herself in Punjabi cinema. Her film Ikk Kudi, where she debuted as a producer, was a significant success, earning around Rs 15 crore worldwide. The film, praised for its female-centric narrative, cemented her status as a versatile entertainer willing to take creative risks.
Her viral dance to the Pakistani track reflects not only her personal flair but also the growing cultural exchange between India and Pakistan through music and television, even during tense times. In 2025, the popularity of songs like this proves that creativity can still bridge borders and bring people together.
