On the fourth death anniversary of Punjabi singer and rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, an emotional tribute was paid to the late artist with the inauguration of the Sidhu Moose Wala Sports Stadium in his native Moosa village of Punjab’s Mansa district.

The stadium was formally inaugurated on May 28 by Gurpreet Singh Banawali in the presence of Moose Wala’s father, Balkaur Singh, along with villagers, supporters, and admirers of the slain singer.

The newly developed sports facility has been built with the aim of encouraging young people in rural areas to participate in sports and fitness activities. Residents of the village said the project reflects a dream that Sidhu Moose Wala had often spoken about for the youth of his hometown.

A large number of fans gathered at Moosa village to remember the singer, whose songs and personality continue to hold a deep emotional connection with people across Punjab and beyond. Many visitors paid floral tributes and recalled his contribution to Punjabi music and culture.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, an incident that had sent shockwaves across the country and sparked widespread grief among his fans. Four years later, his legacy continues to remain alive through his music, social influence, and the affection people continue to show toward his family and village.

The inauguration ceremony turned into a heartfelt remembrance event, with locals describing the stadium as a symbol of inspiration and hope for future generations in Mansa district.
