Sidhu Moosewala’s legacy continues to grow stronger, even after his passing, as his song Barota achieves a remarkable milestone on YouTube. The track has crossed an extraordinary 5 million comments, making it the most commented Indian song on the platform and overtaking Moosewala’s own earlier record held by Game.
Fans from across continents have flooded the comment section, turning the video into a digital tribute and underlining the late artist’s global influence. The overwhelming response has now encouraged Moosewala’s family and management to set an ambitious new target for listeners — 20 million comments on the same video.
According to speculation among fans, reaching this massive figure could lead to a major reveal, possibly a teaser or even the release of another unreleased track from Moosewala’s vault. While no official confirmation has been made, the announcement has added fuel to the already intense excitement surrounding Barota.
Released toward the end of November 2025, the song made an immediate impact worldwide. It entered the Spotify Global Debut Chart at the second spot and soon dominated YouTube’s music charts. Within hours of release, Barota amassed millions of views and an avalanche of comments, later crossing the 50-million-view mark in just a couple of weeks.
With every new record, Sidhu Moosewala continues to redefine success in Indian music. Barota stands as yet another testament to the deep emotional bond he shares with his fans — a connection that shows no signs of fading.
