Sidhu Moosewala is a legend and has left his great legacy as a gift to his fans who show endless love and respect for the late star. Sidhu has given innumerable chartbuster and superhit tracks to the Punjabi industry, and was the undisputed king of music and will remain to rule even while being on the other side.
Last year, Moosewala was shot dead in Mansa district on May 29 when he was on his way to Jawahar Ke village. His death has left a huge void in the hearts of his family, friends and fans. Yesterday, that is on 19 March 2023, Sidhu’s parents observed his first Barsi Bhog, which was held at the New Grain Market in Mansa.
People from across the state reached at Sidhu’s barsi. The ground was packed with people, who came all the way from different places and regions to witness this special and emotional ceremony. Many members of the Punjabi industry also attended the barsi bhog in Mansa. The occasion fueled many emotions with the slain singer’s parents and fans already simmering over alleged tardy probe into his murder.
Sidhu’s father requested the Punjab police to not restrain any traffic, from reaching the barsi premises, as it was a peaceful and very emotional ceremony. The ceremony marked the revelation of a very realistic looking statue of Sidhu Moosewala, which has been made by talented artist Gurpreet Dhuri.
Sidhu Moosewala’s last ride ‘Thar’ was also on display on his first barsi. Bullets were sprayed on the Thar by the assailants to shoot Sidhu, and the display of the same Thar with the marks of all those bullets, made everyone emotional and ached all hearts. The last nine months, after Sidhu’s death have been extremely tough for all his fans and his close ones, and everyone is trying to overcome this huge loss while maintaining his legacy.
