Singga and Sharan Kaur to play lead role: The singer-turned-actor has started shooting for his first Punjabi movie as a lead actor.

Lyricist-turned-singer-turned-actor Singga has signed his first Punjabi movie as a lead actor. Titled 'Sayonee', the shooting of the movie has begun in Birmingham, England.

It is worth mentioning that Singga will make his acting debut in Amardeep Singh Gill's 'Jora - The Second Chapter' later this year.

Sharan Kaur, who made her acting debut in Mandeep Singh Chahal's 'Munda Faridkotia' earlier this year, will be playing the lead role opposite Singga in Sayonee.

The development was made public after Singga uploaded a post on his official Instagram account. Both him and Sharan were seen holding the clapboard.

Imran Sheikh, who made his directorial debut with 'Nadhoo Khan' earlier this year, is directing the movie. Details of other cast of the movie remains unknown at this point in time.
