The Punjabi remake of the Ajay Devgan starrer Bollywood blockbuster- Singham, is all set for release in this independence week. The title of the film is same as the the title of the Bollywood release. Made under the banner of Panorama Films, the movie is being produced by T-Series and Ajay Devgan and will shine on the silver screens on 9 August this year.

Both the teaser and the trailer of the film are out and have managed to create a lot of buzz even before the release of the film. The Punjabi heartthrob- Parmish Verma is playing the lead in the film and has stupendously stepped into Ajay Devgan’s shoes for his role. Parmish will be seen playing the role of an honest, righteous and a brave cop in the film. The diva of the Punjabi industry Sonam Bajwa is playing the female lead opposite Parmish Verma in the movie.

The film has adopted its background score from the Hindi Singham and has also tried to recreate the essence of the Hindi version. The teaser and the trailer of the film make it very evident that the movie is definitely going to be an intense action drama packed with larger than life action. The movie is going to be a beautiful blend and balance of drama, romance, action and thrill.

The movie has been directed by Navaniat Singh, who has directed films such as Mel Karade Rabba, Dharti and Taur Mittran Di in the past. The film will be released by Panorama Studios International and the Omjee Star Studios.

The trailer gave an insight into the film and has created a lot of excitement amongst the fans who are eagerly looking forward to the film. The Singham series is loved by the whole country and it would be interesting to see the audience’s response to the Punjabi version of the film.
