Actor Sonal Chauhan, known for her breakout performance in Jannat, has found herself unable to return to India after flight operations were disrupted amid rising tensions in West Asia. The actress is currently in Dubai, where widespread cancellations have left several travellers stuck at the airport.
Taking to social media, Chauhan shared a message requesting urgent assistance from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In her post, she said she had no clear route back home due to suspended services and appealed for guidance and support from the Indian government to ensure her safe return.
Travel Disruptions Intensify
Air travel across parts of the Middle East has been severely affected following military strikes involving Israel, the United States, and Iran. Several air corridors have been temporarily shut, particularly over Iranian and Iraqi airspace, forcing airlines to either cancel or divert flights.
At Dubai International Airport, passengers have reported long waits and uncertainty, with visuals circulating online showing packed terminals and stranded travellers seeking updates.
Airlines Monitor Situation
Indian carriers including Air India and IndiGo have stated that they are closely tracking the evolving situation and coordinating with aviation authorities. Both airlines have advised passengers to stay updated through official channels and assured that operations will resume once safe flight paths are cleared.
As diplomatic tensions continue to simmer, many Indian nationals in the region remain in limbo, awaiting clarity on when normal air services can safely recommence.
