Actress Sonam Bajwa has expressed her excitement to bring "the fire of love" to the silver screen in her upcoming film Deewaniyat, where she stars opposite actor Harshvardhan Rane. The film, which promises an intense narrative of passion and heartbreak, has already generated a buzz, with Bajwa sharing a motion poster of the film on her Instagram.
In the post, Bajwa revealed her character’s fiery spirit through a powerful dialogue: “Tera pyaar pyaar nahi teri zid hai, jisse tu paar kar raha hai woh har hadd ki hadd hai. Jal jaaungi mit jaungi par khaati hoon main kasam. Tere ishq main jhuk jaaoon main nahi woh sanam. Tere liye mere dil main mohabbat nahi nafrat hai tujhe tabahh jo kardegi woh meri ‘Deewaniyat’ hai.”
The actress captioned the post, saying: “So thrilled to bring the fire of love to #Deewaniyat! An intense saga of passion & heartbreak, starring alongside the amazing @harshvardhanrane! Deewaniyat is set to be an emotional rollercoaster with music playing a crucial role in intensifying its dramatic moments. Produced by Amul V. Mohan and Anshul Mohan under Vikirmotion Pictures, the film is directed by Milap Zaveri, known for his intense storytelling. The film is written by Mustaq Sheikh and Milap Zaveri.
Set to go on floors soon, Deewaniyat is gearing up for a theatrical release in late 2025. Sonam, a celebrated star in Punjabi cinema, will also be seen in Housefull 5 and Baaghi 4.
In Baaghi 4, Sonam will share the screen with Tiger Shroff. Her casting in the film was confirmed in December 2024, alongside beauty queen Harnaaz Sandhu.
Fans are eagerly waiting for both these projects, with Sonam’s dynamic presence continuing to steal the limelight in both Punjabi and Hindi cinema.
