Sukha Kahlon Movie: A biopic on the infamous sharp shooter of Punjab has been jointly announced by three production houses.

In what has come as a riveting announcement in the Punjabi film industry, Geet MP3, Khush Productions and Omjee Star Studios have announced the biopic of sharp shooter Sukha Kahlon, who died a few years ago.

Anchor-turned-singer Jayy Randhawa will be seen playing Kahlon in his biopic titled ‘Sukha Kahlon’. Randhawa was earlier seen in a cameo appearance in Sagar S. Sharma’s ‘Burrraahh’ (2012).

The development was hinted by singer-turned-actor Vadda Grewal after he posted photos from the set of the movie on his official Instagram handle. It was only an hour ago that the official announcement was made by the makers.

Going by Kahlon’s appearance and Randhawa’s first look from the sets of the movie, the latter seems to be an apt choice for the role. Other than Randhawa and Kahlon, actress Kanika Mann will be also seen in a pivotal role in the movie. Also part of TV serials in Mumbai, Mann has previously featured in ‘Rocky Mental’ and ‘Daana Paani’.

Tru Makers, who have directed the music videos of plentiful Punjabi songs, will make their directorial debut with Sukha Kahlon. The script of the movie has been written by Wahid Brothers.

The movie will be produced by KV Dhillon, Khush Parmar and Ashu Munish Sahni. While the release date of the movie hasn’t been announced as of now, illustrious brand Omjee Star Studios will distribute the movie worldwide.
