Renowned Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma has strongly refuted false claims that individuals or entities hold exclusive rights over her professional assignments. Issuing an important notice, she clarified that she is an independent artist and has not granted anyone exclusive control over her work, performances, or collaborations.
In a social media post, Sunanda shared the official statement, warning the public and industry professionals against fraudulent claims. She urged anyone approached by such individuals to report the matter to her team immediately, assuring that strict legal action would be taken against those misrepresenting their association with her.

Sunanda's Emotional Plea
Accompanying the statement, Sunanda shared an emotional caption, expressing the immense hardships she has faced in recent years. She lamented the struggles of handling everything alone for the past two years, especially after the loss of her father, and questioned the continuous challenges thrown her way.
"Bas karo hun???? Jo kuj mere nal kar rahe ho, apne bacheyan nu meri jagah rakh k socho... Ki meri maa mainu kiwen vekhdi hou roz, kini takleef ch hougi.." (Please stop now. Whatever you are doing to me, put yourself in my shoes and think. Imagine how my mother looks at me every day, how much pain she must be in...)
Sunanda also called upon Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, seeking protection of her rights as a citizen. She emphasized that as a proud Punjabi artist, she aspires to achieve greater success and bring pride to her home state.
She urged the entertainment industry to reflect on the situation and stand with her, asking: "JE HUN NAI TE FER KADO’N?" (If not now, then when?)
