The Punjabi industry is in full bloom this spring, with back to back announcements and releases. All Punjabi artists are super busy this season with new work and fresh projects slated for this year and the coming year.

Amidst many film announcements, a new untitled film was announced in December 2022 by GS Goga Productions. The movie went on floors in December itself, but the title of the film had not been unveiled till now. Finally, after more than two months, the makers of this new forthcoming project have revealed the title of this movie. The title of this new film is ‘Superstar’.

The starcast of the film is as grand as the title. The movie stars Gurnam Bhullar in the lead, who is no less than a superstar now in the Punjabi industry, after all his brilliant performances. The female lead in the film is being played by the super cute and charming Punjabi model and actress- Roopi Gill.

Gurnam Bhullar rose to fame after his chartbuster song Diamond. Roopi Gill had modelled in the music video of that song, which gave a super boost to the careers of both the young stars. Now they both are all ready for their first movie together. The fans are excited to witness the chemistry and charm of this beautiful onscreen jodi.

‘Superstar’ is being helmed by the ace director of Punjabi cinema- Ksshitij Chaudhary. The movie is slated to release this year on 14 July 2022. The audience is eagerly looking forward to the release of this new film.
