Surkhi Bindi Preview: Punjabi Mania present before you the full movie preview of upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Surkhi Bindi'.
During the promotions of his upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Surkhi Bindi', director Jagdeep Sidhu was recently seen donning a Bayern Munich jersey. Not sure if Sidhu wore the jersey just by chance or is a die-hard fan of the football club, but he surely is in a similar situation to replicate what Bayern forward Robert Lewandowski did a few days ago.

Coming back to the movie, the trailer of Surkhi Bindi had released nearly three weeks ago on the official YouTube channel of Zee Studios. At the time of writing this article, it has received in vicinity of four million views on the same platform.
Hit machine Sargun Mehta and singer-turned-actor Gurnam Bhullar will play the lead role in the movie. While it will be Mehta's third movie of the year 2019, Bhullar will be seen in his second lead role this year. As far as Sidhu and Mehta are concerned, the director-actress duo is working together for the second time.
Apart from the lead pair, the movie also stars Sukhwinder Raj, Nisha Bano and Rupinder Rupi in pivotal roles. The story, screenplay and dialogue of the movie have been written by Rupinder Inderjit, who wrote the dialogues of Rakesh Mehta’s ‘Yaara Ve’ earlier this year.

It is evident from the trailer that Surkhi Bindi will portray the journey of a husband and wife, who are trying hard to achieve their dreams. The plot of the movie seems to have the potential to break some age-old barriers in not just towns of Punjab but other Indian states as well. More about the movie can only be said after watching it in cinemas on August 30 (Friday).
Surkhi Bindi has been produced by Ankit Vijan, Navdeep Narula, Gurjit Singh and Santosh Subhash Thite under the banners of Zee Studios and Shri Narotam Ji Films Production. The movie will receive tough competition from Sujeeth's 'Saaho'. However, the highly contrasting genre of the movie should aid it in alluring its own target audience to the cinema halls.
Coming back to director Sidhu, Surkhi Bindi will be his third movie as a director. Having delivered outright blockbusters in 'Qismat' and 'Shadaa' in the last one year, Sidhu has a golden opportunity to register a rare hat-trick of successes of such grand magnitude in the Punjabi film industry.
Much like Munich's Lewandowski, who scored a hat-trick against Schalke last week, whether Sidhu will be able to score a hat-trick or not will be in front of us in the days to come.
