Surrender: Royal Singh's second movie as a director goes on floors

Surrender Punjabi movie: The makers have kick-started shooting for this upcoming masala entertainer.

Titled 'Surrender', an upcoming masala entertainer in the Punjabi film industry had gone on floors on Thursday. An outright action movie, Surrender is being directed by Royal Singh.

In what will be his second movie as a director, Royal had made his direcotrial debut with 'Amaanat' (2019). In addition to working as a chief assistant/associate director in multiple movies before his directorial debut, readers must note that Royal has also directed a few music videos of Punjabi songs.

Actors Happi Gosal, Gurinder Makna, Sanju Solanki, Prakash Gadhu, Tarsem Paul, Gurpreet Toti, Deepak Bhatia and Vicky Deol will be playing pivotal roles in Surrender. Punjabi Mania understands that makers will soon announce a female lead opposite Gosal for this movie.

It is worth mentioning that Royal has also written the script and dialogues (alongside Davinder Virk) of Surrender. As far as the screenplay is concerned, Royal has written it alongside Sameer Valecha (additional dialogues as well).

Surrender is being bankrolled by Pushpinder Saron under the banner of A Mehfil Entertainer.
