Punjabi Beauty, Surveen Chawla after having worked in various hits like Dharti, Singh V/s Kaur and last seen in Hero Naam Yaad Rakhi surprised many yesterday when she announced on her Facebook page about her role in the Mega TV Series ’24 India’ where she plays the love interest of the lead actor, Anil Kapoor. Surveen had her share of moments in the thrilling promo of the new season.

24 is a remake of the hit American series by the same name which aired for 14 years on the Fox Network. In 2013, the first season of the remake aired on Indian Television which was based on original Season 1. If my guess is right and Season 2 is also based on the original Season 2, then Surveen is portraying the character of Kate Warner which was played by Sarah Wynter in the original series. Those who have seen the original series, would know that Kate had a presence in all the episodes and if my guesses are right, then Surveen fans are in here for a treat and they will get to watch her in majority of the episodes.
