The makers of Punjabi Movie Sadda Haq have finally chosen the path of law to get the ban imposed on the movie removed. Kuljinder Singh who is the actor in the movie and husband of a co-producer(Nidhi Sidhu) filed a plea in the Supreme Court in this regard. The hearing will take place on Tuesday(April 16, 2013).

The official facebook page of the movie on a aggressive note had a word of caution for the deputy CM of Punjab and SGPC Chief. The post read that truth will prevail and if the government wants to save their face they must lift the ban before the Tuesday hearing.

It is worth noting that the movie was supposed to release on April 5 in Punjab but the government banned the movie in the late hours of April 4, 2013. The movie however is running overseas.
