Punjabi music artist Teji Kahlon was seriously injured after being shot in a targeted attack in Canada, with an alleged criminal network linked to gangster Rohit Godara claiming responsibility for the assault.
The incident occurred late Tuesday evening outside what sources describe as a private event. Eyewitnesses say multiple shots were fired, leaving the singer with serious injuries.
Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene, and Kahlon was admitted to a local hospital where he is currently receiving medical care.
Soon after the attack, a post surfaced on social media in which three individuals—claiming affiliation with the Godara syndicate—took credit for the shooting. In the post, the group issued a chilling message, threatening to carry out a fatal strike.
The shooting is being investigated by local police and Canadian federal authorities. Law enforcement has neither confirmed the identities of the shooters nor the motive behind the attack.
