Recently we had shared the news about the announcement of Gippy’s upcoming untitled project. The wait is finally over as the makers have revealed the title of the film. The announcement of the movie had created a lot of excitement amongst the Punjabi audience and the fans were excitedly waiting for more details about the film.

The title of the film is Ik Sandhu Hunda Si. The film is being made under the banner of Golden Bridge Films & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. and is being directed by the Yaara Ve and Rang Punjab fame director- Rakesh Mehta. The movie has been written by Jass Grewal, and Maneesh Bhatt is the DOP of the film.

The upcoming film has gone on floors and the shooting of the film has started. The highlight of the film is that Bollywood actress Neha Sharma, will play the female lead opposite Gippy Grewal in the movie. Neha Sharma has acted in a dozen of Bolywood films and is known for her work in movies like Crook, Youngistaan, Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 and Kyaa Super Cool Hain Hum. The actress who has also done many Tamil, Malyalam and Telegu films, will make her Punjabi industry debut with this movie.

The first look poster of the movie is out and features the heartthrob lead of the film- Gippy Grewal. The poster of the film suggests that the film will be an intense drama. Gippy has recently delivered the superhit film Ardaas Karaan, and has won hearts with his stupendous performance in it. The fans are eagerly looking forward to ‘Ik Sandhu Hunda Si’, as it will be interesting to see Gippy in a film which is in complete contrast with his last movie Ardaas Karaan, in terms of concept and genre.
