The concept of love stories is not new for the Punjabi cinema. The genre of romance is popular in the Punjabi industry, but there are very few intense love story based films in the Punjabi cinema. One such intense Punjabi love based drama film will soon be seen on the big screen. The title of the movie is Lover.

Lover will star the popular singer turned actor of the Punjabi industry- Guri, in the main lead. The female lead in the film will be played by the very graceful and talented budding star- Ronak Joshi. The movie will basically revolve around a beautiful and heart warming love story and will exhibit a journey filled with hurdles, turns, highs and lows.

Punjabi cinema witnesses many love stories, but very rarely there is an intense love drama which portrays a deep love which may even take a dark turn. The plot of the film will be a powerful one and the storyline will be packed with layers of emotions and values.

The movie has a stellar starcast including many polished actors like Avtar Gill, Yashpal Sharma and Rupi Gill. The film has been written by Taj and has been directed by renowned directors Dilsher Singh and Khushpal Singh. The movie is being bankrolled by KV Dhillon under the banner of Geet MP3.

The film will be a poetic portrayal of love and separation and will definitely manage to touch the audience’s hearts. The intense love drama is all set to hit the cinemas on 1 July 2022. The fans are excitedly looking forward to the movie.
