Few days ago, we broke out the news that Director Pankaj Batra who has directed movies like Bambukaat, Channa Mereya, Channa Kamli Yaar Di, Goreyaan Nu Daffa Karo and Sajjan Singh Rangroot is in London shooting for his next with Jassie Gill, Ranjit Bajwa & Ninja in lead roles. The movie is a multi-starrer and what we hear from our sources is that the Movie is a Romantic Comedy. It is being made under the banner of Pitaara Talkies Private Limited and Pankaj Batra Films. As usual, Vineet Malhotra is the DOP of the film and has worked with Batra on almost all of his previous projects as well.
However, the most interesting piece of news today is that we have the names of 2 of the Leading Ladies who are part of this Project. One of them is Navneet Dhillon who has previously done Ambarsariya opposite Diljit and the other leading lady is Jassi Kaur, who is Model/Anchor turned Actress. The source also revealed that Jassi Kaur is paired opposite Ninja and Navneet is paired opposite Jassie Gill.
The name of the 3rd Leading Lady in the film will be unveiled in a few days time on Punjabi Mania so till then stay tuned to Punjabi Mania. Meanwhile, here is a Picture of Navneet, Pankaj, Ranjit & Jassie straight from London:
