The release date of 'Chal Mera Putt 2' revealed

The Punjabi industry is known for its comedy films, and it is a genre of movies that is loved by the Punjabi audience and gets showered with immense love. Last year, Amrinder Gill released his comic flick titled Chal Mera Putt, and the movie came out as a winner and turned out to be super successful at the box office. ‘Chal Mera Putt’ released in July 2019, and after the success of the same, the makers of the movie announced its sequel in no time. The title of the second installment of the film is Chal Mera Putt 2, and the film went on the floors in November 2019.

Like its first part, the sequel will also be a light hearted comedy and will be based outside India. Like Chal Mera  Putt, its second installment will also be lead by Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal. As per sources, there have not been many changes in the starcast of the sequel and the cast of the film will remain similar to its prequel, with a few additions. The starcast of the film will include illustrious and celebrated Pakistani actors including Iftikhar Thakur, Nasir Chinyoti, Akram Udas, Rubi Anam and Zafri Khan. The film has been shot in Birmingham, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and with the collective efforts of such great actors and comedians, the film will definitely be a laughter riot.

The first title poster of the movie has been unveiled and the release date of the film is finally out. The sequel is slated to release on 13 March this year. It is very rare, that a sequel of a film is released within an year of the release of its first installment, but the makers of Chal Mera Putt have sucessfully succeeded in this and have treated the fans with a box full of happiness by announcing the release date of the much awaited film.

Produced under the banner of Rhythm Boyz Entertainment, Gillz Network and Omjee Star Studios, the film has been written by Rakesh Dhawan and has been directed by Janjot Singh. Chal Mera Putt 2 will be an out and out comedy with loads of laughter, different storyline, honest performances and a vibrant concept. The film will definitely be a family entertainer and will manage to tickle the audience’s funny bones.
