The Punjabi industry witnessed an influx of new film announcements after the lockdown got lifted. Amongst the long list of films that were announced post the lockdown, singer turned actor Ninja also announced a new film in October 2020.

The title of the film is Phir Mamlaa Gadbad Hai. The film stars Ninja and Prreit Kamal in the main lead. Ninja was last seen in Manav Shah’s ‘’Ardab Mutiyaran” in the last quarter of 2019. Prreit, on the other hand, was last seen on the silver screen in Amrit Raj Chadha’s ‘Saab Bahadar’ (2017).

Phir Mamlaa Gadbad hai is being made under the banners of Ohri Productions, Brimming Vision Films and Royal Punjab Films. The director-writer duo of Sagar S. Sharma and Kumar Ajay, which had worked together in ‘Jugni Yaaran Di’ and ‘Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da’ , will be working in the same capacity in Phir Mamlaa Gadbad Hai.

The team of Phir Mamlaa Gadbad Hai has started the shooting of the much awaited comedy flick. The shooting of the film started today that is on March 1, 2021. The team took it to its instragram to share some photos from the first day of shoot. The news has thrilled the audience who have been eagerly looking forward to hearing more details about the movie.
