The release of Balkar Sidhu’s first Punjabi film, Desi Munde has been delayed. The film will now release on Oct 21. VIP Films USA received a show cause notice from Mr. Harjinder Singh from United Kingdom. VIP Films USA is the production company of the film.
Harjinder has alleged that Balwinder Heer of VIP Films USA has breached his privacy. In the show cause notice, which is held by Punjabi Mania, Harjinder says that the story of the film is related to his personal experience and has been produced without his permission. He has also threatened to file an injunction against the release of the movie.
When contacted Balwinder Heer, he said the issue has been resolved but has affected the release of the film. The film will now release on Oct 21, 2016.
