Ucha Pind: Harjeet Ricky's multi-starer action drama to release on September 3

Ucha Pind: The makers have not just announced the movie but also revealed its release date to excite the fans of Punjabi movies.

With 'Tunka Tunka' and 'Puaada' having set the ball rolling for the Punjabi film industry after the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, more producers have started to join the bandwagon with respect to announcing release date of their films.

Director Harjeet Singh Ricky, who had last directed 'Once Upon A Time in Amritsar' (2016), is all set to make a comeback after half-a-decade with his next movie titled 'Ucha Pind'.

Written by Narinder Ambersariya, Ucha Pind comprises of a stellar cast comprising of Navdeep Kaler, Poonam Sood, Sardar Sohi, Ashish Duggal, Hobby Dhaliwal, Mukul Dev, Suvinder Vicky, Rahul Jungral, Lakha Lehri, Dilawar Sidhu, Sanjiv Rai and others.

Ucha Pind to release on September 3 in cinema halls

Considering Ucha Pind's ensemble cast and poster, it wouldn't be wrong to presume that the movie will be an action drama set in a village of Punjab. In what might end up becoming a case of commenting too soon especially before the trailer, Ucha Pind appears to be a quintessential story of property-related disputes.

Produced by Sunny Dhillon, Hardeep Singh and Dimpy Dhillon and set to be distributed by PTC Globe Moviez, readers must note that Ucha Pind is scheduled to release in cinema halls on September 3. Apart from Jagdeep Sidhu's 'Qismat 2', Ucha Pind is only the second confirmed Punjabi movie to release in September 2021.
