Originally announced a couple of years ago, it was only a week before that upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Ucha Pind' came into recognition especially after the makers revealed a release date in September 3.
Surrounded by an overall dearth of movies since the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the Punjabi fans have given the impression of embracing the announcement and songs related to Ucha Pind.
With makers New Deep Entertainment and 2RR Productions having also released the trailer now, fans have responded well by perhaps realizing the value which will be unlocked upon the release of the movie.
Ucha Pind's trailer was released on the YouTube channel of ND Music on Friday. At the time of writing this story, it has received in excess of 2.5 million views on the same platform.

Having watched the trailer now, there is no going into a safe house regarding the fact that Ucha Pind is going to be an outright action drama based out of a village in Punjab. Considering the number of action sequences in the movie, it wouldn't be wrong to say that the movie has it in it to be watched on the silver screens.
Navdeep Kaler, who has played character roles in more than a dozen Punjabi movies now, is not just playing a lead role on paper but also appears to be doing the heavy lifting in the movie which comprises of a stellar cast in Poonam Sood, Sardar Sohi, Ashish Duggal, Hobby Dhaliwal, Mukul Dev, Suvinder Vicky, Rahul Jungral, Lakha Lehri, Dilawar Sidhu, Sanjiv Rai, Manjit Singh, Sukhwinder Sohi, Mani Kular, Jatinder Kaur and Seema Kaushal.
Written by Narinder Ambersaria and directed by Harjeet Singh Ricky, Ucha Pind doubtlessly has potential of becoming a watchable movie. It will be interesting to see how well do multiple tried and tested actors with a forte in the action space work for Ucha Pind.
