The Neeru Bajwa and Tarsem Jassar starrer ‘Uda- Aida’ is one of the most awaited Punjabi film of this year. The movie that is being made under the banner of Friday Russh Motion Pictures has been in the limelight ever since its announcement. The movie is being produced by Rupaali Gupta, Deepak Gupta, Naresh Kathooria and Ksshitij Chaudhary. Ace director Ksshitij Chaudhary is the director of the film and Naresh Kathooria has written the story of the movie.

The trailer of the film has been released and is recieving an extraordinary response. Along with treating the audience with a heavy dose of entertainment, the movie promises to give an important message to the viewers. The trailer of the film suggests that the film will be a satire on the current education system in Punjab, wherein all the parents are struggling to get their children admitted into English medium schools. This film raises the question that how parents of this modern society are in the rat race to educate their kids in expensive schools, which also leads to the failure for kids to understand their roots.

The story of the film revolves around a couple who sent their child to an expensive school after struggling with all the difficulties but as the story unfolds, with changing circumstances, kid starts to feel that his parents are backward as compared to the parents of other kids. The movie highlights the importance of Punjabi language.
Uda Aida gives the impression of instilling the notion of speaking one’s mother tongue.

The superhit bollywood film Hindi Medium was also based on a similar issue but this concept has not been covered by the Punjabi industry. This will be a different film which will include comedy anf family drama along with conveying a beautiful social message. Apart from the lead pair, the movie stars Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, BN Sharma and others. The movie will hit the screens on 1 February this year and the fans are eagerly looking forward to its release.
