Substance abuse is a major problem in Punjab. As a result, more and more films are being made based on this issue which is prevalent in our society. From Dev Kharoud’s upcoming film Dakuaan Da Munda 2 to Parmish Verma’s new project Tabaah, the issue is being widely covered and highlighted in new Punjabi films.

Parmish Verma had turned heads in the beginning of this year when he had announced his new movie Tabaah. The film is not like any other Punjabi film, but will be an intense drama based on substance abuse. The first poster of the movie came out in January this year but no other revelation was made about the film until now.

Recently, the star of the movie- Parmish Verma,  who is not only the lead actor in the film, but also the director and the producer of the movie, made an exciting revelation about ‘Tabaah’. Verma took it to his Instagram to reveal the lead actress of the upcoming film. The actress who shall play the leading lady opposite Verma in ‘Tabaah’ is none other than Parmish’s Dil Diyan Gallan co-star Wamiqa Gabbi.

Both Parmish Verma and Wamiqa Gabbi shared a mesmerising chemistry in the 2019 romantic film Dil Diyan Gallan. The duo is now all set to recreate the magic of their on-screen romance in the new upcoming film.

Being produced under the banner of Parmish Verma Films, the movie has been written by Gurjind Maan. No details about the complete starcast or the release date have been disclosed yet. The fans are eagerly looking forward to more details about the film.
