By now we are all familiar with White Hill Production. They are the Production House which has given the audiences hits like the Jatt & Juliet series, Punjab 1984, the Sardaar Ji series & many more. After making successful inroads in Film Production, Distribution & Music Label now the company is entering the field of Web Content Development.

WHP is producing a short film titled ‘Shukar Dattea’ which features Rana Ranbir & Jarnail Singh in lead roles & is directed by Janjot Singh with whom White Hill is already planning a feature film in future. Shukar Dattea will release exclusively in White Hill Production’s YouTube Channel come December 9.

Another project in the pipeline is a Web Series of a very different kind titled ‘Sleepless Nights’ which is directed by Sahil Dev and Produced By Raghav Kumar. The series features Varun Chawla & Surleen Kaur in lead roles. The series is set hit the Web in mid December with a number of episodes which will release one after the other. The final dates will be announced soon here on Punjabi Mania.

Speaking to Punjabi Mania, the CEO of White Hill Production, Param Oberoi said, “Web is the thing of today. It’s the future of creativity. In the west, Proper feature films & TV Series are released straight on the Internet and even in India the things are picking up pretty soon. So White Hill which is known to be the trendsetter in Punjabi Cinema decided to venture in the creation & development of content which is exclusively for the Internet. We will come up with more such new things in future as well.”

If there is Netflix, Amazon, Hulu & HBO in the West then we have TVF, AIB in India and with White Hill now joining the league of Web Series we can certainly expect for more interesting things in future.
