Reason # 1: Jimmy Sheirgill & Neeru Bajwa are back together
Every Movie Lovers favourite couple, Jimmy Sheirgill & Neeru Bajwa the charming Roop & Reet from Munde UK De (2009) and the loveable Rajveer & Seerat from Mel Karade Rabba (2010) are back on screen as Karma & Eesh and I am sure that this is big enough for movie lovers to rush to the cinemas on March 17th when the film releases.
Reason # 2: The Emotional element seemed to be missing in Punjabi Cinema from a long time.
Jindua, by the looks of it promises to be high on emotions besides being a romantic film. I haven’t seen much emotional elements in Punjabi Cinema for quite some time now and then comes the Trailer of Jindua which shows us the glimpses on emotions and promises more of that in cinemas.
Reason # 3: The ‘TUFFY’ Factor
Tuffy may not be the name of a human, but this name has been quite common in the households ever since Hum Aapke Hain Kaun arrived in 1994. Jindua also has the character of a Dog called ‘Tuffy’ in the film and seems to be a reason of connection between Jimmy (Karma) & Sargun (Saghi).
Reason # 4: Everybody’s favourite ‘Dhan Kaur’ is back
We all fell in love with Dhan Kaur. Didn’t we? Atleast I did. Sargun Mehta played Dhan Kaur in Angrej with effortless ease and that performance is still fresh in our minds. Sargun brings a jibe of romance as well as emotions in Jindua and her chemistry with Jimmy is something I am looking forward to in the film.
Reason # 5: ‘Navaniat-Dheeraj-Harmeet-Jimmy’ – The Team ‘Re-Unites’
A director is as good as his team, that’s what I believe. These 4 (Navaniat Singh, Dheeraj Rattan, Harmeet Singh, Jimmy Sheirgill) have given us some unforgettable films in the past. And now they are back again to entertain and enthralling the audiences with Jindua.
Reason # 6: 1st Punjabi Film to be shot in Calgary, AB
The City of Calgary or as they call it ‘The Heart of the New West’ is one of the most beautiful cities of the world and I am lucky to have personally visited the city. Jindua is shot in some of the exotic locales of the city and the area surrounding it. The Trailer only gave us a short glimpse of the grandeur the film carries. Also complementing the beautiful location is the cinematography from the master, Harmeet Singh.
