Widow Colony: Gippy Grewal's production house Humble Motion Pictures has announced another movie which will go on floors in January 2021.

Absolutely unperturbed by the current COVID-19 situation, Desi Rockstar Gippy Grewal has announced yet another film titled 'Widow Colony'. The film will be directed by ace director Smeep Kang. It is worth mentioning that Kang has also turned writer for the movie.

Grewal took his social media platforms to make the news public. Grewal, who will be producing this movie under the banner of Humble Motion Pictures, hasn't announced the full cast of the movie at this point in time.

However, him tagging seasoned actor Gurpreet Ghuggi in the post hints at him playing a pivotal role in the movie. It remains unclear if Grewal will himself act in the movie or not.

Much like Widow Colony, both Grewal and Kang have plentiful movies in line which will release in the next year. While Kang will be directing all these movies, Grewal has forthcoming movies across capacities.

As the name and the title suggests, Widow Colony is based on the consequences of 1984 riots. Kang, who is widely known for directing archetype comic movies, helming a movie on such a serious movie sounds fascinating.
