Renowned rapper and music icon Yo Yo Honey Singh has humorously weighed in on the recent advisories directed at Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh. Addressing the issue during an interview with a private news channel, Singh quipped, “It’s big revenue. If they shut down liquor stores, we will make songs on Lassi and Jaljeera.”
The comment has sparked conversations online, reflecting Singh’s characteristic wit and his knack for turning controversy into humor. While the advisories to Dosanjh have been a subject of debate, Honey Singh’s remark has added a lighter note to the discourse, prompting laughter and discussions among fans and the music community.
Singh's playful response also highlights the versatility of Punjabi music culture, suggesting that it could just as easily celebrate traditional beverages like lassi and jaljeera if circumstances required. Social media users have been quick to pick up on the statement, with some even calling for a potential collaboration between the two artists to create tracks centered on these quintessentially Indian drinks.
As the discussions continue, both Dosanjh and Singh remain under the spotlight, showcasing how artists in the Punjabi music industry often navigate sensitive topics with creativity and humor.
