One of the most loved Punjabi web series ever made, Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree holds a special place in the hearts of audiences, with over 550 million cumulative views on YouTube. The film will carry forward the story that began with the series, bringing back its relatable characters, college nostalgia, and heartfelt friendships — but this time, with brand-new twists and emotions.
Actor Pukhraj Bhalla shared, “This isn’t just a film—it’s a reunion. The fans grew with us, and now we’re bringing that magic back where it belongs—the big screen.”
Speaking at the launch, Rabby Tiwana said, “YJKD started as a dream shared with the audience, and their love made it a movement. This film is our way of celebrating that journey on a grander scale.”
Producer Munish Sahni added, “The kind of love this series has received is historic. Taking it to cinemas is a natural next step for a story that connects with every Punjabi youth, and we’re excited to take it to a global level.”
Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree – The Film is set to be a celebration of memories, dreams, and togetherness — a journey from classrooms to cinema halls on 07th August, 2026.
