Following the removal of Satluj from ZEE5 India, the streaming platform has released an official statement addressing growing concerns among viewers. The platform assured audiences that it is actively working to find a solution while urging them to avoid accessing the film through unauthorized sources.
In its statement, ZEE5 said it remains hopeful about the film's return and is making every possible effort to restore its availability. The platform also appealed to fans not to encourage piracy, emphasizing its commitment to exploring all available options to bring Satluj back to Indian viewers.
The removal of the film sparked widespread discussion online, with many fans expressing disappointment and demanding clarity over the decision. As speculation continues, ZEE5's latest statement offers reassurance that discussions are ongoing and that the platform has not given up on making the film accessible again.
Satluj, directed by Honey Trehan and starring Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Rampal, is inspired by the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. The film was released internationally on July 3 without the cuts that had reportedly been sought during the certification process in India.
While Satluj remains unavailable on ZEE5 India for now, it continues to stream in select international markets. Fans are now awaiting further updates as the platform works toward bringing the film back through official channels.
