Putting an end to the murmurs which were doing the round in the industry, director Pankaj Batra’s Parmish Verma-starer movie was announced last night. In what has come as a surprise for the Punjabi film industry, Sonam Bajwa will play the lead role opposite Verma in the movie. Titled ‘Jinde Meriye’, the movie was announced on social media platform Instagram. The movie will be distributed worldwide by Omjee Group. Verma, Bajwa, Batra and Munish Sahni (Omjee Group) had gone LIVE from the actress’ Instagram account to make the news public. Later, a short video of the announcement was uploaded by both the leading actors. Given the fan-following of both the actors, the development is most likely to come as a relishing one. Extensive details about the project same haven’t been disclosed as yet. However, it is worth mentioning that the makers have locked Diwali 2019 for the release of the movie. Jinde Meriye will hit the silver screens on October 25 this year.
