Singer-turned-actor Ranjit Bawa has begun shooting for his upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Kale Kachhian Wale’. Announced in the first week of November, the movie is being produced by superstar Gippy Grewal under the banner of Humble Motion Pictures. Sapna Pabbi will play the lead role opposite Ranjit Bawa. Having made her debut in the Punjabi industry with Mar Gaye Oye Loko, Pabbi worked alongside Grewal in his own directorial ‘Ardaas Karaan‘ last year. Written by Harsh Rana and Chanchal Dabra, Kale Kachhian Wale will mark the directorial debut of Maneesh Bhatt. Apart from working as a DOP in several Hindi movies, Bhatt has also played the same role in Smeep Kang’s ‘Carry On Jatta 2‘ and Simerjit Singh’s ‘Mar Gaye Oye Loko’.
