Punjab Mania.com In what has come as a great development, the Punjabi film industry is set to witness the official remake of the 2011-released super-hit Hindi movie ‘Singham’. Ajay Devgan, who was the main lead in the Hindi Singham series is presenting the movie alongside Panorama Studios. Ajay Devgan had shared this news on his social media account a few months back. The heartthrob of the Punjabi industry Parmish Verma who had made his acting debut last year with his film Rocky Mental, has been starred as the main lead in the film and will be seen acting ‘in and as’ Singham in the film. Sonam Bajwa will be seen playing the female lead opposite Parmish Verma in the movie. Kartar Cheema will be seen playing the negative character in the film.

The movie is being produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak and co-produced by Omjee Group (Munish Sahni). Panorama Studios and Omjee Group will also distribute the movie worldwide. The movie is being directed by ace director Navaniat Singh who has earlier directed movies like Shareek, Dharti and Mel Karade Rabba.

The shooting of the film had started this week. The movie will hit the screens next year. Besides this movie, Parmish Verma will also be doing a movie titled ‘Dil Diyaan Gallaan’. Sonam Bajwa would also be seen in Muklawa, Guddiyan Patole and Nikka Zaildar 3 next year. It is for the first time that Parmish and Sonam will be seen sharing space on the screen. The fans are very excited for this ‘fresh jodi’. The audience is very keen to see Parmish Verma once again on the big screen and the director-turned-actor-turned-singer is expected to stand tall on the opportunity for it is a role which suits well with his persona.
