Love Gill’s Ration Call Splits the Bigg Boss House

The October 8, 2026 airing turned on a ration task that forced contestants to weigh personal advantage against shared supplies, with Love Gill’s turn triggering the sharpest backlash.

Ration Becomes the Main Flashpoint

The most consequential confirmed event in the October 8, 2026 airing was the ration task, because it turned a captaincy-linked exercise into a house-wide argument over responsibility. The rules put a captaincy contender in the thief’s role and made other housemates decide how much shared food to move in that contender’s favour. Giving the larger share could earn the giver a separate power, so the task pulled strategy into the kitchen.

That structure immediately made the food supply part of the game. Mary Kom voiced the clearest concern early, warning that if everyone kept stealing ration for power, the house could be left with little for daily use. Mahhi Vij also spotted an imbalance in the format: those who came earlier in the order could benefit before the house fully registered how much ration was disappearing, while later players might face more pressure to hold back.

Yung and Aasif Take Their Turns

Yung went first and completed his round, after which the ration he had collected was submitted. The task then became more personal when Bigg Boss told Kanika that almond milk she regularly used had also been taken during the process. Kanika responded by saying she did not need much beyond rice, flour and her luxury items, but the moment underlined that the stolen goods were not abstract points; they were items tied to individual needs inside the house.

Aasif Khan then got his opportunity. He took a large quantity of items, but according to the account, he clarified that he had not touched essentials needed by the house. That distinction mattered because it framed his move as aggressive but still bounded by a concern for common supplies.

Love Gill Chooses Her Own Reading Of The Task

Love Gill’s turn shifted the atmosphere. The passage says she sacrificed most of the available ration for the sake of the house instead of simply taking everything she could. The decision was not received as a neutral move. Once Love completed her turn, Arishfa Khan and Kanika confronted her, arguing that the choice had consequences for everyone and should not have been treated only as a captaincy opportunity.

Love stood by her position and said she had performed the task within the rules given by Bigg Boss. Kanika pushed back that the ration belonged to the whole house and that Love should have considered the other contestants before acting. Love did not soften her stance, and the disagreement widened quickly.

The House Divides Around Love

The argument became a group conflict rather than a one-on-one dispute. Kanika, Mahhi Vij, Arishfa Khan and Uditi opposed Love’s decision. ScoutOP took the opposite view, supporting Love on the ground that she had done what the task required. Yung also told Love that she had played smartly.

That split made the task’s central tension visible. One side treated ration as a collective resource that should have limited individual play. The other side treated the rules as the boundary: if Bigg Boss created a task that rewarded taking or sacrificing ration, then using that space strategically was part of the game. The airing did not resolve that disagreement; it left the house divided over whether Love had made a smart move or gone too far.

Earlier Tension Around Physical Boundaries

Before the ration task, the house spent time on a separate misunderstanding involving Love, Yung and ScoutOP. After Yung gave Love a side hug, ScoutOP reacted and objected to what he described as physical drama. Amrapali also advised Yung and Love not to become excessively close.

ScoutOP later explained the concern by asking Yung to consider how such closeness might look to partners outside the house or to viewers if edited into short clips. Yung initially felt ScoutOP had unnecessarily brought his relationship into the matter, but he also admitted the situation could create problems outside. The tension settled only after Yung and ScoutOP apologised to each other and cleared the misunderstanding.

Mary Kom Adds Another Layer

Amid the arguments, Mary Kom opened up to Kanika and Gullu about her own discomfort in the house. She said another group stopped her from speaking to other housemates and taunted her. Kanika and Gullu were shocked by what she shared, adding an emotional note to an airing already shaped by strained equations.

The final lighter beat came with Kanika’s birthday celebration alongside Gullu, Aman and Aasif Khan. It offered a brief pause, but not a reset. The supported record of the October 8, 2026 airing shows a house where even a ration task became a test of priorities: personal advancement, shared supplies, outside perception and internal group pressure all collided in one day.
